Military Freedom Scholarship

The Military Freedom Scholarship has been established for active duty military personnel and their immediate family members, to include spouse and dependent children, who enroll and attend a degree program as full-time students at the Academy.

Applicants must submit a completed scholarship application, a notarized copy of current valid military ID (or this may be presented to an Academy staff member at the time of application), copy of DD Form 214, or other appropriate documentation evidencing eligibility for the scholarship. A 250 word essay outlining how completion of the degree would benefit their career goals must also be included.

Applications must be submitted to the attention of the Director of Financial Aid prior to the scheduled start date listed on the academic calendar. Awards will be based on potential performance in an educational program and applicants meeting all conditions of the application process. Applications may only be submitted one time for each academic year. Recipients will be selected by the Scholarship Review Committee prior to the start of the program.

Scholarship awards will be applied exclusively toward tuition. Awards for associate degree applicants may range up to $3,465. Awards for bachelor degree applicants may range up to $6,930. Scholarship amounts will be awarded proportionately over each quarter of the program.
