Future Artist Scholarship

The Future Artist Scholarship has been established for out-of-state residents who demonstrate outstanding ability in each of the program areas listed below. Students can apply for a $250 scholarship at the International Academy of Design and Technology to be awarded quarterly in each of the following programs:

Bachelor of Fine Arts in Computer Animation
Bachelor of Fine Arts in Digital Move Production
Bachelor of Fine Arts in Fashion Design and Marketing
Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design
Bachelor of Fine Arts in Interior Design
Bachelor of Fine Arts in Recording Arts
Bachelor of Arts in Merchandising

Applicants will be required to submit a cover letter explaining their commitment to the program and two sample copies (no originals) of work (photographs, PC or Mac CD of digital files acceptable), postmarked four weeks prior to the scheduled start as listed below. Samples of work will not be returned.

Postmarked by December 10 for the winter quarter start
Postmarked by March 10 for the spring quarter start
Postmarked by June 10 for the summer quarter start
Postmarked by September 10 for the fall quarter start

Entries should be submitted to the attention of the Program Department Chair and will be selected based on creative ability and analysis of financial needs as determined by a panel of faculty and staff. Winner will be announced one week prior to the start, and winning entries will be on display during the week of orientation. Funds will be awarded during the first quarter of attendance. Only one entry per student per quarter will be accepted.
