- Understand terminology, equipment and the use of hand and computer-aided drafting to graphically construct interior floor plans, elevations, reflected ceiling plans, electrical plans and details relative to interior construction and design.
- Understand principles that define aesthetic relationships and effects of elements.
- Use hand sketching, autoCAD, grids and a variety of media and rendering techniques for graphically illustrating interiors.
